The goal of this in-person course is to prepare students to meet requirements to enroll in a Medical Assistant program in future semester(s). Students focus on reading comprehension, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and basic math and receive individualized advising support. Students must enroll in a medical assistant program after completion of this pre-apprenticeship to become a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant.

Prerequisites: CASAS score of 233, high school diploma or equivalent, approved application, work authorization preferred but not required
