In this course, students will acquire the knowledge and skills to enable them to progress towards a career as a healthcare clinician. Topics will include anatomy and physiology with treatment of common medical and mental health illnesses, learning to read and interpret medication labels and calculate oral and liquid medication doses, and written communication skills for the healthcare environment including writing medical histories and clinical notes.
